Holly M. Paar has been facilitating groups and creating dynamic programming for people young and old since 2000. Having already been born into a long line of compelling and avid storytellers, Holly became deeply invested in the process of storytelling and its cathartic benefits while working with older youth in foster care in the 90’s, as well as with the adults who support them. An artist, photographer, writer, filmmaker and musician, Holly also works with non-profit organizations in Western North
Carolina, creating multi-media campaigns (to tell their stories) and managing programs for youth.
A graduate of Western Carolina University with a degree in English, Holly also has educational forays into philosophy, outdoor leadership and education and medicine. She also completed Transformational Leadership Training in 2010.
Holly loves learning from other people just as much as she does sharing her own experiences. SoJourn workshops came about after many years of discovering her own gifts, navigating the challenges that come with owning those gifts to the fullest and a deep desire to share her energy and joy with others.
